About The Program
Tax return preparation fees can be very expensive. Especially for families with lower incomes. Rooftop of Virginia CAP has been filing taxes free of charge for those earning under $65,000 annually for over a decade. This program follows strict protocols and adheres to IRS rules and regulations. The agency files an average of 500 returns and saves $125,000 in preparation fees annually for customers. The program operates with few staff members and depends upon the assistance of volunteers.

- You must bring photo IDs, social security cards & all required tax documents for everyone listed on your return to the appointment.
