You can help us by donating, providing supplies to help our mission, or volunteering your time.

All contributions made to our agency are tax-deductible.

Donate Supplies

P.E.R.I.O.D. Program

Hygiene supplies such as tampons, menstrual pads, pantyliners, adult incontinence supplies, laundry detergent, dish detergent, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpastes, deodorant, and hair care items including soaps, hair spray, gel, brushes, et cetra.

Senior Involvement Program

Craft supplies, new and/or gently loved large-print books, especially activity books or coloring supplies.

Early Childhood Education

Consumables and sensory Items: construction paper, crayons, markers, play dough, pom poms, kinetic sand, baking soda, conditioner, glue, food coloring, pipe cleaners, foam, feathers, paint, chalk, clay, paint brushes, googly eyes, large buttons, shaving cream, stickers, et cetra.

Volunteer Opportunities

Below are some of the volunteer opportunities that may be available with us. You will work with the Volunteer Manager (276-236-7131, ext. 234) to determine the best fit for you and may change that at any time after providing notice. This list is fairly comprehensive but RTOV is open to any other ideas/skills/abilities that you might suggest.

Greeter/Scheduler– schedule appointments for VITA
– greet customers and provide general info

Tax Preparer– complete tax returns for customers– basic computer skills

Quality Reviewer– Complete Quality Reviews for Tax Preparers– basic computer skills

May also complete ‘drop-off’ returns.
Facility Assistant– help to keep grounds attractive

AllMain agency location as well as centers/satellite locations.
Special Events Team Member– help with agency events
– assist in any tasks pertaining to event including planning, promoting, conducting and clean up

AllWill work with staff at the main agency location. Events may be held within the community.
Fundraising Team Member– help to plan, promote, conduct fundraisers
